Study on the Aeromagnetic System between Fixed-Wing UAV and Unmanned Helicopter

Based on the CH-3 and WH-110A unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms, we independently developed aeromagnetic systems for fixed-wing UAVs (FUAV) modified helicopters (MUH), respectively. These overcome key technological challenges in system integration, compensation, electromagnetic (EM) compatibility. We conducted a 1:100,000 test using both tidal flat area Jiangsu province, China. Both successfully completed 240 line km measurement lines collected high-quality data with magnetic compensation accuracies of 0.01428 nT 0.04690 nT, The dynamic noise was below 0.14 accounting 95.72% 100% measurements. results indicate that offer high accuracy, efficiency, low cost, convenience, flexibility. compared two based their parameters, integration modes, methods effects, practical applications. By comprehensively analyzing characteristics application fields, provide guidance UAV-based surveys mineral exploration, basic geological survey other related fields. And FUAV MUH presented this paper serve as valuable reference future research area.
